Pow’r Pitch consists of a practice Ball attached to one end of an elastic CORD with the other end attached to a synthetic grass Mat.
A batsman stands on the Mat and gets ready.
A bowler walks away from the Mat stretching the CORD. The longer the stretch, the greater the Ball speed (WARNING! Do not pitch a very fast Ball, as this could impact negatively on a Batsman’s confidence and possibly hurt them if the Ball hits them.)
The Ball is then pitched to the batsman using a slight upwards flick of the hand, to make the Ball land just in front of the batsman.
Variations on how the Ball is flicked, either slightly higher or lower, or slightly off to the right or left, can mix up the position where the Ball lands allowing the batsman to practise different shots.
What makes Pow’r Pitch great
The Ball won’t disappear in the garden hedge or go over the garden wall where the neighbour’s dog is waiting for you. This can’t happen with Pow’r Pitch as the Ball is attached to an elastic.
No assembly is required and you can take Pow’r Pitch anywhere with you.
All you need to do is find a flat surface and roll out the Pow’r Pitch Mat .
You now have a great way to have fun with your friends and family while practising your batting at the same time!
